Congratulations to Benjamin SIMONNEAU, GEIC2O team, for winning the Best Oral Presentation Award at the latest Young Researchers Conference organized by the Association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose (Defeating Cystic Fibrosis Association), and to Simon CAHEN, CEPIA team PhD student and emergency medicine intern, for winning first prize at the 2026 Hackathon organized by the University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC)!

Congratulations to Benjamin SIMONNEAU, GEIC2O team led by Sophie LANONE, for winning the Best Oral Presentation Award at the latest Young Researchers Conference organized by the Association Vaincre la Mucoviscidose (Association for the Conquest of Cystic Fibrosis).

Already winner of the Best Poster Award in 2024, Benjamin SIMONNEAU this time won the Best Oral Presentation Award for his presentation entitled “Modeling class I mutations using CRISPR/Cas tools: iPSC-derived organoids for the discovery of therapeutic strategies in cystic fibrosis”! This edition took place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Imagine Institute in Paris.

 

 

Congratulations to Simon CAHEN, PhD student in the CEPIA team led by Florence CANOUÏ-POITRINE and emergency medicine intern, for winning first prize in the 2026 Hackathon at the University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC)!

 

Simon CAHEN: “This hackathon was an opportunity to showcase GERIATHOME, our project for keeping elderly people in their own homes, which focuses on patient input, coordination between caregivers and support workers, and discreet AI at the service of people.”
